My Temple Within
As I sit with you in my temple of peace I feel the core of the universe flow through me, the pulse of myself seeking to express itself through my art and poetry. As the world speeds up with people, places, and distractions where I searched so many years in vain of finding myself many said, "Look to God," up and out- in the clouds maybe? All fingers pointing away from myself, my core, my womb, my chalice of wisdom, with self doubts wailing in my head. How can that be my answers within? As trauma films blaze on, television mirrors of roller coaster rides to hell in New York and around the world I wrap around my staff of life, bridging heaven and earth. My earth mother holding me tight. I uncoil like a silver cobra with its head held high, Sacred Feminine rose blossoms upon my lips. Pharaoh, Queen of the Rivers, purified my chalice filled to the brim, no longer out on a limb, giving myself away.
